Juan Luis Gómez López, commonly known as Juanlu, is a Spanish footballer who is on the books of the Spanish side Real Betis. At the moment he is on loan to the Spanish Segunda Division side Cordoba. He plays as a midfielder.
Juanlu started his professional career at little known Mármol Macael before moving to ALmeria in 2002. He played 55 league matches for them and was signed by Numancia in the summer of 2004. In his one season at Numancia, Juanlu made 27 league apperances and impressed many, including Real Betis who promptly signed him.
Juanlu though has never managed to settle at Betis. He has played three games so far for the Andalucians and has spent almost all of his time on loan to other Spanish clubs. He was on loan to Albacete in the 2005-2006 season, then played for Osasuna the next season and was offloaded on loan again to the Spanish second division side Cordoba for the 2007-2008 season.
