Some of the professional teams include Aris Saloniki from 2006 to 2008, Real Murcia from 2006 to 2006, Portsmouth from 2005 to 2005, Panathinaikos from 2003 to 2005, Iraklis from 2001 to 2003, Panathinaikos from 1999 to 2001, Apollon Athinai from 1996 to 1998 and Panathinaikos from 1995 to 1996.

He was called up to the national football team for the UEFA EURO 2004 campaign. He even won the Greek league and cup medals whilst with Panathinaikos team. He even helped Aris to reach the Greek Cup finals in 2008 not to forget the second place in the league for PAOK in 2009. His international call up was in 2001, when he played for Nikopolidis, where he showed exceptional talent.

With the Panathinaikos, Kostas received the Greek Super League title in 2003-04 and the Greek Cup in 2003-04.

Whilst playing for the national team, he received the European Championship in 2004. With the Aris Thessaloniki F.C. team, his team was the runners up of the Greek Cup in 2007-08 season.

With the PAOK F.C. team, the team won the Greek Super League: Runners up title in 2008-09.
