Danko Lazovic'image:Danko Lazovic' |Danko Lazovic' is a Serbian football player who at present plays for the Russian Premier League club, Zenit Saint Petersburg and also for the Serbian national football team. He made his international debut in 2002 for the Serbia national football team in a friendly match in Fortaleza against Brazil.

Danko played for seven clubs in four countries and is known for being a hard work player, having a strong hold up playing swift movements. He thoroughly enjoyed three seasons at Partizan team prior to joining Feyemoord in 2003, which paid him a good seven million Euros. His chance was limited in Rotterdam after which he had to join Bayer Leverkusen on a six month loan basis, which was not fruitful at all. Later on, he joined Vitesse in 2006 on a permanent basis.

He was rediscovered by the Serbia team for his amazing playing rhythm with 19 goals in 32 games during his loan season at the club, which earned him a whopping 6.6 million euro switch to PSV. Having spent almost three campaigns at the Philips Stadion club, he helped the Eindhoven giants in 2008 and was transferred to Zenit for five million Euros.

It was in 2010, that he made three substitute appearances, though failed to find the score sheet during the matches. However, he did hit the target in a friendly match played over Cyprus, which his team won with flying colors.
