Pulis To Leave Stoke - Reports

Stoke City have relieved long-term manager Tony Pulis of his duties according to reports.

Stoke City have relieved long-term manager Tony Pulis of his duties according to reports.

Pulis had been in charge of the Potters for the past seven years, having guided the club to promotion in 2008.

However, according to reports, club chairman Peter Coates decided to relieve Pulis of his duties at a meeting on Tuesday morning.

Pulis had led Stoke to the FA Cup final last season and a decent Europa League campaign too.

It is understood, Coates has long been troubled by fans’ criticism of Pulis’ playing style.

Early favourites to replace Pulis include Brighton manager Gus Poyet as well as Neil Lennon and Martin O’Neill.
