Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has ruled out a return to Boca Juniors despite rumours of a switch to his former Argentine club.
The 29-year-old former Manchester United, West Ham and Corinthians man has been linked with a move away from Eastlands after City’s failure to defend their league title.
However, Tevez told Canal 9 that any return to Argentina wouldn’t be possible due to his wage demands.
“If it was down to me then I would return tomorrow because I will love Boca until I die,” Tevez said.
“Maybe I will return to Boca when I am 33. It’s very difficult for any Argentinian club to pay Manchester City my market value.
“If Milan have offered 20 million Euros to Manchester City when I was in a worse moment of form then what would they pay now?”
