Chelsea v Swansea City live Premier League Preview

Chelsea will be visited by Welsh club Swansea City on Sunday at the Stamford Bridge stadium in London.

Chelsea will be visited by Welsh club Swansea City on Sunday at the Stamford Bridge stadium in London.

The Blues will be heartened by their last minute winner in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final at Basel on Thursday, but it is time for manager Rafa Benitez to concentrate on the Premier League where Chelsea look to secure a top four finish to be able to play in the Champions League next season.

Chelsea have never had it easy against the Swans who are unbeaten in their last four matches against the Londoners. The last league meeting between the two in November of last year ended in a 1-1 draw with Hernandez for Swansea and Victor Moses for Chelsea on the scoresheet.

Since then the two teams have met over two legs of the Capital One Cup semi-final where the Swans beat Chelsea comprehensively, and then went on to win the final too.

The second leg is also remembered for the hostile incident between Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and a ballboy.

Chelsea’s good form in the Premier League was marred by the 2-2 draw against Liverpool last Sunday, when Luis Suarez’s last gasp goal snatched the 3 points away from them.

Benitez would be hoping to get back on track with this match as Swansea, with a European place guaranteed for next season, have little left to play for.

Demba Ba would return for the home club, as Fernando Torres played the entire 90 minutes in mid-week. For Swansea, club superstar Michu would be instrumental in all their forward runs.

Probable line-ups:-

Chelsea - Cech, Ivanovic, Cole, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Oscar, Mata, Moses, Hazard, Ba.

Swansea - Vorm, Williams, Chico, Rangel, Davies, Michu, Hernandez, Dyer, Cornell, De Guzman, Moore.
