Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is set to pen a new three-year contract with Italian champions Juventus.
The 34-year-old Italy international will make official the new deal at a high-profile public signing in Turin on Wednesday.
Buffon’s contract was set to expire at the end of next season but he has reportedly now agreed to a deal worth less than his current €6 million per season salary.
“I am happy about his renewal,” Juve boss Antonio Conte told Rai TV.
“It means that the best goalkeeper in the world can continue playing with us for a long time!”
