Ajax Amsterdam boss Frank de Boer says his side will take plenty out of Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Feyenoord as they strive towards the Dutch Eredivisie title.
Viktor Fischer netted a first-half double and Siem de Jong added a third on 62 minutes as Ajax moved into third spot, within one point of leaders Twente.
“We were equal in the first 15 minutes, but after that, we had the match under control,” de Boer said.
“We were especially good on defence. I’m very pleased with the result, and with the play we showed.
“Although I do think that we can do better. I see a lot of confidence in the team. Let’s hope that we can hang on to that feeling for as long as possible.”
