Ferguson: Braga Comeback Story Of Our Season

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says his side’s come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Sporting Braga in the Uefa Champions League was the story of their season.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says his side’s come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Sporting Braga in the Uefa Champions League was the story of their season.

The Red Devils went two goals behind after 20 minutes after an Alan double, before Javier Hernandez pulled one back. Jonny Evans equalised after the break and the Mexican netted the winner on 75 minutes to earn United a valuable three points.

“It has been the story of our season at home, starting badly and losing goals,” Ferguson said.

“We have had to rescue games and it is the front players doing that. I must say some of our football was terrific tonight, we played some fantastic football and we created a lot of chances. But it is a concern we are losing a lot of goals.”

Ferguson went on to praise his forward-line options.

“(Hernandez) is improving all the time,” he said. “He trains magnificently and he has great enthusiasm. I must say he has got me thinking.

“I have got him, Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck, and I don’t know what to do with them.”
