Arsenal’s wantaway striker Robin Van Persie has linked up with the club in Germany ahead of their pre-season friendly against FC Koln.
The 29-year-old Dutchman has made it public he won’t resign with the Gunners when his contract expires at the end of the 2012-13 season, prompting widespread speculation on his future.
Manchester United are the favourites to land the Dutchman, while Manchester City and Juventus have also been linked with him.
However, Van Persie’s move to link up the club’s pre-season training camp is a positive sign to see him stay at the club until at least the January transfer window.
