Real Madrid assistant manager Aitor Karanka says Tottenham’s wantaway midfielder Luka Modric would fit in at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Croatian midfielder has angered Spurs with his desire to leave the club, following links with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
And Karanka hardly diffused the situation, as they try to push through £40 million deal for Modric.
“Which club would not want to have a player like him? He is a player that stood out in the Euros,” Karanka said. “It is clear that he would fit in at Real Madrid.”
Karanka also hinted Brazilian midfielder Kaka’s days at the club could be coming to a close, stating they are looking for a solution on his future.
