Bayern Munich attacker Argen Robben says his side are hungry for success in the 2012-13 after finishing last term runners-up in three competitions.
The Bavarians were beaten in the DFB-Pokal and Uefa Champions League finals as well as finishing second to Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, but Robben said they were steadfast on righting their wrongs.
“We have a season behind us in which we were close to all titles, but in the end we did not win anything,” Robben told Bild.
“The hunger for titles is even greater now. I already feel a lot of desire in the team, even if we are missing several key players who are still on holiday after Euro 2012.”
Bayern, who are in China as part of their pre-season plans, lost to Napoli 3-2 in a friendly on Friday and Robben said his side need to learn the habit of winning games.
“You must never lose. We must always win. Before half-time we gave them a goal to make it 1-1 too easily. This should not be happening. That is the sort of thing that cost us points in the Bundesliga,” he said.
