Everton played their part in an entertaining clash with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Monday night and I want to be with them versus West Brom this coming weekend.
A late Mikel Arteta strike salvaged a point for Everton, one they thoroughly deserved, and they now face a Baggies side that has lost four of its last five.
Having started the season so well, Roberto Di Matteo’s men are on the slide and the hosts look backable at 1.62 on Saturday.

While Everton began the campaign sluggishly, they have really picked up in recent weeks and it is now just one defeat in nine in the top flight. That came at home to Arsenal, when the Gunners were the better team, but Everton were on top for large periods in the north-eats against the Black Cats and Moyes will be confident of claiming the maximum haul.
West Brom won plenty of fans in the opening months of the new season upon their return to the Premier League, and plenty of points, but a 3-0 beating at home to Stoke last time out was alarming and their only point in November to date has come at West Ham.
Reversals at Blackpool and Wigan, both likely fellow relegation candidates, prior to that were surprising too, given Di Matteo had seen his troops win at The Emirates and gain a point at Old Trafford previously, and the Italian manager has his work cut out to arrest West Brom’s rapid plummet down the table.
Only goal difference separates the pair ahead of Saturday’s clash at Goodison, both have 16 points from the opening 14 matches, but while Everton will be very much looking upwards towards the top half, and beyond, the visitors will be nervously glancing over their shoulder at the drop zone.
Although The Toffees are yet to scale the heights of the second half of last season, when they were virtually unbeatable, there has been more than enough in their recent performances to suggest a decent run is not far away and I expect it to start on Saturday with a win. Everton appear banker material to me and I suggest you get stuck in.
3pts Back Everton (vs. West Brom) @ 1.62 (various)
