Suspensions to key players means changes will need to be made by both teams. Luis Suarez’s suspension is a blow to Uruguay’s front third, while the Dutch must go without influential ball-winner Nigel de Jong.
The Dutch, on paper, look the stronger of the two teams and should get through.
Germany 1 Manuel Neuer – 16 Philipp Lahm, 17 Per Mertesacker, 3 Arne Friedrich, 20 Jerome Boateng – 7 Bastian Schweinsteiger, 6 Sami Khedira – 15 Piotr Trochowski, 8 Mesut Oezil, 10 Lukas Podolski – 11 Miroslav Klose

Germany’s hard-working youngster Thomas Mueller is suspended after picking up a booking in the 4-0 rout of Argentina. He’ll be missed for the Germans going forward, while Spain look strong and have few worries, except for Fernando Torres’ indifferent form. Cesc Fabregas may start ahead of him.
The Spanish have dominated world football in the past few years and that shouldn’t change on Wednesday, especially at full-strength.
