AS Roma captain Francesco Totti ensured the Italian title race would go down to the wire, with two late goals in their 2-1 win over Cagliari. Elsewhere Inter beat Chievo 4-3 to stay top. On the final day, Inter travel to Siena, while Roma visit Chievo.
In the race for Champions League football, Sampdoria took a step towards qualification after holding Palermo to a 1-1 draw in Sicily. AC Milan, who have lost three of their last four matches, have officially reached the ECL.
Down the bottom, Atalanta are officially relegated after losing 2-0 at Napoli. Atalanta join Siena and Livorno as the relegated clubs.

The Spanish title will go to the final day, after Barcelona won 3-2 at FC Sevilla, while Real Madrid smashed Athletic Bilbao 5-1. Barcelona host relegation-candidates Valladolid, while Real Madrid journey to strugglers Malaga.
Valencia have already secured a UEFA Champions League spot, but the door remains ajar for Sevilla or Mallorca to grab the final place. Sevilla are at Almeria, while Mallorca host Espanyol.
Down in the relegation battle there’s plenty going on with four clubs on 36 points and battling to survive. Xerez are already down, but Malaga, Santander, Valladolid and Tenerife will all battle it out on the final day.

Chelsea are champions of England after finishing the season in emphatic style with an 8-0 hammering of lowly Wigan Athletic. Striker Didier Drogba scored a hat-trick to secure the league’s Golden Boot.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham grab the UEFA Champions League spots, while into the Europa League are Manchester City, Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Down the bottom, we already knew who was down with Burnley, Hull City and Portsmouth off to the Championship next season.

Bayern celebrated claiming the title on Saturday with a comfortable 3-1 win at relegated Hertha BSC in the capital. Schalke and Werder claim the UEFA Champions League spots.
The Europa League places go to Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart, with this season’s beaten semi-finalists, Hamburg SV, missing out.
Going down are Hertha BSC and VfL Bochum, who lost 3-0 at home to safe Hannover 96. FC Nurnberg will face a playoff against FC Augsburg, despite beating FC Koln 1-0 on the final day.

The Turkish title race is proving a fascinating battle and will go down to the wire between Istanbul giants Fenerbahce and the upstarts of Bursaspor. Neither side has it easy on the final day, with Fenerbahce hosting Trabzonspor, while Bursaspor entertain Besiktas.
Galatasaray and Besiktas have secured their spots in next season’s Europa League while Trabzonspor’s isn’t secure just yet with Istanbul BB and Eskisehirspor not far off.
Down the bottom, Diyarbakirspor are officially relegated alongside Denizlispor and the busted Ankaraspor.
