Premier League champions Manchester United are reportedly hunting for the prized signature of the Spanish international hitman David Villa.
According to The Daily Mirror, Manchester United are willing to offer Valencia as much as 45 million pounds. They recently had a cash injection of 80 million pounds from the accepted bid from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo.
David Villa was seemingly on his way to Madrid but then talks broke down between Valencia and Madrid and then FC Barcelona threw in their bid.
It now seems that United too have made their interest known in the player but whether or not the player wants to go to Old Trafford is a matter of uncertainty. David Villa has said that he does not want to Spain to ply his trade.
