Soccer or football?
Should it be called soccer or football? That is the question many sports fans have argued over since the dawn of time, almost. Us Europeans prefer the word “football” of course, as it’s actually played with one’s feet (unlike American football).
So maybe the term “soccer” should be replaced by “football”. And then American football would not be referred to as “football”, but always “American football” to avoid confusion.
