Juventus manager Alessio Secco has once again insisted that club coach Claudio Ranieri shall stay on at the club beyond the summer.

Claudio Ranieri>

Ranieri has come under fire from the media and the fans alike as a disappointing 2008-2009 season comes to an end.

But the coach himself has said that he is under no pressure from the club’s management and Juventus’ president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and manager Jean-Claude Blanc have echoed the same thoughts.

And now Juventus manager Alessio Secco has said that Ranieri is staying at the club. He told news agency Ansa:

“Ranieri will be our coach also next season. Rumours suggesting otherwise are free of any truth. I think the results obtained until today speak clearly: the club did all it could to win again, but evidently something is still missing.”
