FC Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has stubbornly declared that he shall exhibit his true colours in the year 2009.
Henry was signed by Barcelona in the summer of 2007 from Arsenal for 16 million euros.
But the French international striker was a failure in his first season in La Liga and was linked with a move away from Camp Nou in the summer of 2008.
But he stayed on and has been in good form so far this season.
Speaking in an interview with La Redoute, the French international said:
“2009 will be the year for Barcelona and me.
“I feel physically stronger every day and I feel more comfortable in the team. I am a useful template in a team full of great players.”
