There has been more in the perpetual FC Barcelona-Ronaldinho-AC Milan drama. AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has always maintained that the Rosonerri shall secure the services of the 28-year old Brazilian ace in the summer but after their 5-1 demolition on Reggina in the Italian Serie A on, Galliani admitted that Barcelona might provide some resistance in them landing Ronnie in Milan.
Galliani said:
“I don’t know if a deal will be done.
“We have to operate within the framework of market conditions. If it happens, great, if not we’ll change our objectives.
“I’ve never said that we are close to Barcelona.
“It’s one thing to be close to Ronaldinho, but quite another to be close to the club.
“There are other teams as well as Inter interested in Ronaldinho. I’ve been dipping into the market for many years and there’s nothing strange here.
“If Barcelona accept our offer we’ll do a deal, if not we won’t.”
Seems like Barcelona are not too eager to let Ronnie go on the cheap. It was earlier reported that Ronaldinho has agreed personal terms with Milan and shall get a pay package of 12 million euroes a year at Milan but it now appears that Barca want more shares of the pie as well. This transfer saga is one circus that is set to linger on for some more time.
