Manchester City might not play even in the UEFA Cup next season but their ambition to build on has no bounds. Last summer club owner Thaksin Shinawatra imported several new faces into the unit and appointed the famous Sven-Goran Eriksson as their new manager and this summer the former Thai PM is looking to add more personnel and glamour into the unit.
City executive director Taweesuk Jack Srisumri says that talks with the FC Barcelona star Ronaldinho has been held and that the club is seriously looking at the prospect of signing players like him for next season. He says:
