Sevilla FC right full back Daniel Alves is a much sought after player these days. He is arguably the best right back in the world and has pretty much made it clear that he wants a move away from the Sanchez Ramon Pizjuan at the end of the season. Alves is even reported to have agreed personal terms with Spanish giants FC Barcelona although the Catalans are yet to lodge a concrete bid for the Brazilian international.
Which Barca president Joan Laporta needs to do pretty fast or Premiership outfits Manchester United could snoop out the player right under their noses. It’s been reported that Sir Alex Ferguson is preparing a 25 million euro bid for Dani Alves at the end of the season and had even sent scouts to Spain to watch the player in action.
Alves of course has kept all his options open and has admitted that he would love to play for any of the top European clubs vying for him such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Man United and Barcelona. Alves says:
“I need to play for a team which is always in the Champions League, which goes out to win every game and which has a philosophy of attacking football.”
Seems like the Brazilian is toying with his prospective suitors!
