The Lebanese team in the A1 Grand Prix, is A1 Team Lebanon, which is owned by Tameem Auchi. The team car was presented to the public on November, 2004. A1 Team Lebanon continued to race with descent drivers, despite unimpressive performances, and an online petition has been set up by Lebanese fans to get original driver, Khalil Beschir back.
