Tom Dillmann

Tom Dillmann is a youngster who has come up big in very quick time. A confident single-seat racer, Tom is well versed in the sport and knows how to handle him in tough situations. In 1999, he started his Karting adventure that went on for four seasons.

After numerous wins, the 9-year old Tom was now 14 and was already driving in the Formula Renault 1600 series. He was promoted to the Formula Renault series in Belgium. In his third season, in 2004, he finally managed to make an impact and got a fifth place in the series before moving into the European Formula Renault. A promising learning period in the new series led to another season in the European series in 2006 although this time ‘round, he also participated in the French Formula Renault series.

In 2007, he managed to win a place in the Formula 3 Euroseries and with three podium places, came 9th in the championships.

His wonderful performances showed a lot of promise and was part of the A1 GP Switzerland team for the Sydney and Taupo races in the 2007-08 season.

Karting still being his favourite version of racing, Tom will be looking to keep A1 GP Team Switzerland near the top, like the previous seasons in the competition.
