World champion Sebastian Vettel moved 10 points clear in the 2013 Formula One title race after winning the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Red Bull driver recorded his second Grand Prix triumph of the season, finishing ahead of Lotus duo Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Grosjean.

Vettel, who started the GP in second but claimed the lead in the third lap and never let it slip, moves 10 points clear from Raikkonen in the title race after four races.

Last season’s runner-up Fernando Alonso had a difficult day in his Ferrari, struggling with his DRS and eventually finishing in eighth, leaving him 30 points behind Vettel already down in fourth.

Force India’s Paul di Resta finished fourth after a tight battle with Grosjean, while MercedesLewis Hamilton did well to beat off Mark Webber for fifth. Webber actually ended up in seventh, with Sergio Perez charging home for sixth.
