Kimi Raikkonen and Mika Hakkinen are two former world champions of Formula One who are accustomed to the pressure that the sport carries with it. Later in January, the duo will be part of a racing challenge of a different sort when they take part in the Arctic Lapland Rally.
On his Arctic Lapland Rally debut, 29-year old Raikkonen will be driving a Fiat Avarth Grande Punto S2000. The Ferrari man will be driving with Kaj Lindstrom by his side as the co-driver. Hakkinen is, however, a three-time participant at the rally with his previous appearances coming in 2003, 2004 and 2006. Hakkinen will be aboard a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 aided by Ikka Kivimaki.
>Contestants will be driving across Northern Finland in the Arctic Circle in the third week of January. Over the years, the Arctic Lapland rally has seen a number of illustrious champions of the likes of Marcus Gronholm, Tommi Makinen as well as Hannu Mikkola.
