On Saturday, Ochoa and Pettersen are said to play together for that match and Pettersen said that she’s very excited and hoped to play good rounds. Yani Tseng, a second ranking player also commented that Lorena is a really good player and have displayed excellent plays this week.
Also, Michelle Wie said that she was frustrated with his play against Ochoa on Thursday by being a stroke behind after 66. Ochoa got her 25th LPGA tour title from a victory in the Honda LPGA in Thailand, thus opening her season. She was also able to strike a 7-iron to 3 feet on the eighth for the eagle. After that, on the back nine, a two-putted for birdie on the par-5 10th was also to hit a wedge to a foot o the No.12 and strike 9-irons to 4 feet on No.13 and 15.
Ochoa also stated that she should not be confident in a win until a last putt falls in. on the previous year; she had won matches through her 11 strokes hitting 66-66-66-69 to get the game done at 25-under.
