Jim Sorgi
Quarterback James Joseph Sorgi is a professional football player for the New York Giants team of NFL. He is fondly called as Jim and has played his college football for Wisconsin. He was chosen in round six of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He was the 193rd pick.
In four seasons, Sorgi has seen limited action with the Colts. In 13 games, he's thrown 127 passes, completing 78 for a success rate of 61.4-percent. His rating is 90.4. Sorgi has hit for six touchdowns and tossed one interception. He's thrown for a total of 751 yards. On 5th March 2010, he was released from this team and joined the New York Giants team three days later.
The six-foot-five, 196-pound QB has good height but not enough bulk to take the punishment that a NFL signal caller is exposed to. Over the past four years, Sorgi has shown improvement when it comes to making decisions, mechanics and technique. Although not overly talented, he is a good athlete and a hard worker. Sorgi offers good arm strength and accuracy. He can serve as a stopgap solution if Manning goes down but should not be expected to be a true starter.
