Mario Urrutia, Jr. is a professional wide receiver and presently a free agent. After playing his college football at Louisville, Mario was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He was the 246th pick overall.

At Louisville, Urrutia appeared in 34 games, making 130 catches for 2,271 yards. He caught 16 touchdowns and averaged 17.5 yards per catch. The wideout was a Sporting News Freshman All-American (2005) and a two-time member of Second-team All-Big East (2005-2006).

At six-foot-six and 232 pounds, Urrutia is a good target. With his long arms and big hands he can take in balls. Possessing fine balance, solid ball skills and good body control, Urrutia can wreak havoc in the red zone and on deep routes. In order to produce at the NFL level, he will need to stay focused and become more physical. His route running is not as crisp as it should be and at this point he lacks the speed needed to gain separation.
