Quarterback Donald Eugene Shockley nicknamed as "D.J", was the 223rd pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. The former Georgia signal caller was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round.

While at Georgia, Shockley played in 42 games, throwing 34 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. His rating was 142.8, while he completed 54.1-percent of his passes. He threw for a total of 3,555 yards, including 2,588 in his senior year.

Shockley has not played in a NFL game. In 2007, he spent the season on the injured reserve list with a knee problem. Presently, he is fourth on the Atlanta depth chart.

The quarterback is small at six-foot and 220 pounds. Still, he brings a strong arm to the field and has a toughness and athleticism that can serve him well. He's a fine scrambler who can break a run or set up quickly and throw. Finding passing lanes are a concern as he's short for a NFL signal caller. There's a rawness to him, which includes a tendency to offer a “tell” in the form of patting the ball prior to delivering it.

Till date, Donald has won the First team All-SEC, the SEC Championship Game MVP and was the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award finalist in 2005.
