Bowling average
Bowling average is a term used in cricket statistics which depicts the performance of a bowler. The bowling average of a player is calculated by dividing the total number of runs conceded by the bowler with the total number of wickets he/ she has claimed. A bowling average of below 25 is considered exceptional while a specialist bowler should average between 20 and 40.
