The England Under-19 Cricket team is the one which is formed by selecting players under the age of 19 years from various parts of the country. These players are picked up from different counties which participate in the various tournaments which constitute the domestic cricket of England.

This team has been playing official Under-19 test matches since the year of 1974. They were earlier called as England Young Cricketers prior to 1991/92.

Many great cricketers who have played International Cricket for the England National Team have earlier in their career played for the England Under-19 team. Some of the former Captains of this team include Michael Vaughan, Marcus Trescothick, Mike Atherton and Andrew Flintoff.
