Sale Sports Club

Sale Sports Club> was established in 1854 and has a long history of sport achievements in Cheshire. This club offers competitive as well as social opportunities in cricket and other sports like Rugby Union, Football, Hockey and Tennis. The opportunities are offered to both senior as well as junior level of players. The club has one of the best and the largest grounds in Cheshire having open membership for all.

Located on the south border of Greater Manchester, the club has their own clubhouse. The club also boasts one of the largest and the best reserved playing facilities in Cheshire. This club has open membership policy too and welcomes new members, both players and social members.

At present, the Sale Sports Club has three senior teams in the Chapel Press Cheshire County Cricket League. Along with the Salford Youth Cricket Association, the club has the junior teams in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League.

In 2005, the club was awarded with the prestigious clubmark accreditation. This was followed by a new four bay net facility that was funded entirely by the ECB Community Club Development Fund in 2006.
