Nepal national women's cricket team
Nepal national women’s cricket team debuted in the 2007 edition of ACC Women's Cricket Held in Malaysia.
In 2008 they played in the U-19 ACC Women's Cricket. Nepal finished second in the senior level tournament while Thailand emerged victorious. However, the Nepal women’s team created history by winning in the U-19 category after defeating Thailand by 83 runs. Previously they had defeated Thailand by 55 runs in the group stages, and also Singapore.
Nepali women were however unable to participate in the Women’s Cricket World Cup, 2009.
The women’s team of Nepal consists of 17 players under the leadership of Chatur Bahadur Chand.
