The United Arab Emirates national women’s cricket team represents UAE in international women’s cricket. The team was formed recently in 2007 and debuted the same year in the ACC Women’s Tournament in Malaysia.

The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) established the national women’s cricket team with the help of two former Indian women cricketers Smitha Harikrishna and Pramila Korikar.

They were grouped with the rookie team of Bangladesh, and China and Singapore in the initial stages. They suffered an embarrassing loss against Bangladesh, getting all out at a negligible target of 9. They managed a rather higher score of 65 for 5 against Singapore but were eventually beaten and exited out of the tournament.

Key players: Natasha Michael, Charvi Bhatt.
