The Andhra Pradesh cricket team represents the coastal region in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is an Indian domestic cricket team. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the other team in the domestic circuit is the Hyderabad cricket team and this represents the city of Hyderabad.

The Andhra Pradesh cricket team was never successful in reaching the Ranji Trophy final. Due to such a record, it never got an opportunity to take part in the Irani Trophy. During the 2007-08 Ranji Trophy, Andhra Pradesh was successful in 2 matches out of 6 in the Elite Group. Consequently, it could not reach the semi finals. The Andhra Cricket team comes under the South Zone of Indian cricket.

Some of the famous players of the Andhra Pradesh cricket team are Ambati Rayudu,Venugopal Rao, MSK Prasad, Kommireddi Kamaraju, Bhaskar Ramamurthy, Danthala Venkata Meher Baba and M.V. Narasimha Rao.

During the 2007-08 season, the captain of the Andhra Pradesh cricket team was Mannava Prasad. Some othe players in this team are Arjun Kumar, Mohammad Faiq, Israel Raju, Sarath Babu and Paidikalva Vijaykumar.
