Chandigarh Lions represents the city of Chandigarh, which is the capital of the state of Punjab in India. This team was one of the six founding teams in the Indian Cricket League.

In the Indian Cricket League’s Twenty20 championship in 2007, the team played the following matches. On 30th November, the Lions defeated Delhi Jets by 9 runs and Daryl Tuffey was the Man of the Match. On 2nd December, the Kolkata Tigers defeated the Lions by 43 runs and Darren Maddy was the Man of the Match. On 5th December, Lions defeated Hyderabad Heroes by 6 wickets and Imran Farhat was the Man of the Match. On 8th December, Chennai Superstars defeated Lions by 4 wickets and Ian Harvey was the Man of the Match. On 9th December, Lions defeated Mumbai Champs by 38 runs and Chris Cairns was named as Man of the Match. On 15th December, Lions defeated Delhi Jets by 4 wickets and Abbas Ali was declared as Man of the Match. On 16th December, Chennai Superstars defeated Lions by 12 runs and Shabbir Ahmed was Man of the Match.

The captain and coach of the team is Chris Cairns.
