Daniel Redfern
One of the youngest players to play the List A cricket, Daniel James Redfernimage:Daniel Redfern cricket|Daniel Redfern cricket was born on 18th April 1990 in England. He is a left hander batsman who can also be a useful left arm off-break bowler when needed. A promising young cricketer for Derbyshire, Daniel Redfern has already started making his marks in the team. He has also played for Derbyshire 2nd XI and England Under-19s.
Redfern debuted for Derbyshire Phantoms in a match played against Worcestershire Royals at an age of sixteen. In twenty seven First-class matches played till now, he has scored 1141 runs at an average of 28.52. Including a highest score of 95, he has seven half-centuries into his account. While bowling, he has taken five wickets in these matches. In twenty four List A matches Redfern has been a part of till date, he has scored 527 runs at a batting average of 21.35. His top score in these matches is 57*. In these List A matches, he has taken five wickets with the best bowling figures of 2 wickets for 10 runs.
Daniel Redfern has also played a Twnety20 match against Leicestershire on 27th June 2008. In this match he was able to score only nine runs.
