Career
Benjamin made his international debut in August 1994, playing his only Test match against the formidable South Africa National Cricket Team at The Oval. In this appearance, he claimed four wickets for 42 runs, boasting an impressive bowling average of 20.00. He followed this with his debut in One Day Internationals later that year, where he played two matches against the Australia National Cricket Team. Despite his limited opportunities, Benjamin's bowling prowess was evident, as he secured one wicket across 72 balls bowled in ODIs.On the domestic front, Benjamin had a significant impact, particularly in the county circuit. He played for Warwickshire and Surrey, accumulating a total of 387 wickets in first-class cricket from 1988 to 1999. He maintained an average of 29.94, with notable performances during his final season, helping his team clinch the County Championship.
