Abhimanyu Mithun
Abhimanyu Mithun is an Indian international cricket player who at present has been selected by the Royal Challengers Bangalore to play at the 2012 IPL matches. Standing 6'2 feet tall, Mithun plays for major teams like Karnataka cricket team and the Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL team.
Abhimanyu plays first class cricket for the Karnataka team. This right arm medium fast bowler was called up to the Indian squad for test match held against South Africa in 2009-10 season, ten weeks after he made his first class debut. His debut in ODI in the third and final one day came in 2010 season against South Africa team. His test debut was in 2010 July against Sri Lanka at Galle, when he took 4 wickets.
He played in 5 ODI matches, scoring 51 runs, with 180 balls bowled. Of the 29 First class matches, he scored 512 runs, with a batting average of 18.96. He bowled 5441 balls taking 107 wickets. With right to List A matches, he played 39 of them, scoring 240 runs at an average of 12.63. He took 45 wickets of 1872 balls. Moreover, he played in 27 Twenty20 matches.
