KP Apanna

Kotarangada Prabhu Appanna was born on 20th December, 1988 in Kodagu, Karnataka. He played with major teams like Karnataka cricket team and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. This right hand batsman is a slow left arm orthodox bowler. Presently, he has been retained to play at the IPL 5 season by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Till date, Appanna has played in 22 first class matches, scoring 77 runs at an average of 12.83. He played in 21 List A matches with an average of 8.66 of 26 runs. He played in 16 Twenty20 matches with a strike rate of 130.00. Apart from his batting, he bowled amazingly. In 22 First class matches, he delivered 4461 balls of 2253 runs, taking 69 wickets. His bowling average accumulated to 32.3, with economy rate of 3.03 and a strike rate of 64.6.

He played for the IPL 2nd season in 2009 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He made his First class debut in 2006, List A debut in 2008 and Twenty20 debut in 2007 respectively.
