Naman Vinaykumar Ojha is a former Indian first class cricket player who played a handful of games for India, as well as playing in the IPL and representing Madhya Pradesh team in first class cricket. He was a wicket keeper and a hard-hitting batsman.

Career

He played for Madhya Pradesh from 2001 to 2021, but also played in the IPL for several franchises, starting with the Rajasthan Royals (2009 to 2010), the Delhi Daredevils (2011 to 2013), Sunrisers Hyderabad (2014 to 2017) and again the Daredevils (2018).

He made his India debut in 2010 in an ODI against Sri Lanka as well as playing two T20 Internationals against Zimbabwe a week later, however they proved to be the extent of his international white-ball career.

He represented India once at Test level in 2015 against Sri Lanka, scoring 35 in one innings and taking four catches with a stumping, elevated following an injury to first-choice gloveman Wriddhiman Saha. That came after scoring a century in each innings playing for India A against Australia A in Brisbane in July 2014.

Career Highlights

He played in 146 first class matches with an average of 41.67. He scored total 9,753 runs, which includes 22 centuries and 55 half centuries. His high score in first class cricket was 219 not out.
