Varun Raymond Aaron was born in Jamshedpur, Bihar in 1989. Presently, this bowler is a part of the IPL Franchise, Delhi Daredevils. Presently, he is retained by the Delhi Daredevils team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.
The major teams that he played for till date include Australian Center of Excellence, Delhi Daredevils, India Emerging Players, Jharkhand, Kolkata Knight Riders and Jharkhand under 19s team. This right hand batsman and right arm medium made his first class debut in 2008 against the Jammu & Kashmir team at Ranchi. His List A match debut came in 2010, against Assam at Cuttack, with Twenty20 debut in 2009 against Tripura in 2009.
With right to his first class career batting and fielding, Aaron played in 13 matches, scoring 305 runs with an average of 20.33 and strike rate of 44.78. His bowling career include 2201 balls against 1208 runs with 29 wickets and at an average of 41.65 and 75.8 strike rate.
His List A match career batting calculates to 15 matches, 79 runs with an average of 19.75 and 138.59 strike rate. His bowling calculation were 693 balls against 558 runs, with 29 wickets at an average of 19.24 and strike rate of 23.8.
Other than this, Aaron played in 12 Twenty20 matches, with 15 runs and an average of 7.50 with strike rate of 78.94. His bowling in these matches calculated to 246 balls, against 270 runs, with 8 wickets at an average of 33.75 and 30.7 strike rate.
