Aavishkar Salvi

Aavishkar Madhav Salvi is a professional Indian cricketer who at present is selected by the IPL team, Delhi Daredevils. Born in Mumbai in 1981, he is a right arm medium pace bowler and also right handed batsman. He even played first class cricket for Mumbai cricket team.

His bowling style is similar to Glenn McGrath's and has similar line and length with top notch seam bowling that brought Aavishkar up from relative obscurity. He acted as a backup seamer for his club, as that to the national team in less than a year. Post this, he has made many Ranji Trophy appearances for his club.

Aavishkar has an amazing strength for a bowler of his height and a commendable run-up too. Of the four ODIs that he has played, his total scored runs were 4, batting average 2.00 and balls bowled 172. He took 4 wickets, with an average of bowling 30.00.
