Jacqueline Robinson
Jacqueline Robinson is a former cricketer from Jamaica who made her mark as a talented batsman for the West Indies National Cricket Team. Born on 30 January 1966 in Kingston, she showcased her skills on the international stage during the 1990s and early 2000s.
Robinson’s cricketing journey began when she first donned the national colors in 1993 at the Women's Cricket World Cup held in England. However, she wasn’t to feature prominently until over a decade later when she toured India and Pakistan in 2004. Throughout her career, she participated in 17 international matches, including one Test match and 16 One Day Internationals (ODIs).
In her lone Test appearance against Pakistan, Jacqueline made a noteworthy contribution by scoring 57 runs, highlighting her capability as a reliable middle-order batsman. Across her ODI career, she accumulated a total of 127 runs, with her highest score being 43. Beyond her batting prowess, Robinson also contributed with the ball, claiming 7 ODI wickets throughout her tenure.
