Thirush Kamini
Thirush Kamini is an Indian female cricketer, who is a left-handed batter. She debuted for India in 2006 as a 15-year-old and is still playing at the domestic level, having last played for India in 2017.
Career
Kamini was 15 when she debuted against Pakistan in 2006 at Jaipur in the Asia Cup. In this match, she picked up 3 wickets for 19 runs with her right-arm legbreak, which was her career best performance. This championship was won by India and Kamini was honored as the Player of the Tournament as she claimed eight wickets at 10.87.In February-March 2007, the quadrangular tournament was played in Chennai where Kamini had to face stronger opponents. In the three games that she played, she picked up only one wicket. Kamini has a round arm action and it is similar to a legbreak bowler going round the wicket. She gets very little turn on the Chepauk pitch. In the past, she has been expensive on this pitch due to which she has been unable to complete her quota of overs.
In 2013, she scored her maiden ODI century against the West Indies at the 2013 Women's World Cup, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve that at the event. Kamini achieved a Test century against South Africa in 2014, scoring a career-best 192 which is the second-best ever score by an Indian female in Test cricket.

Thirush Kamini has participated in 39 ODIs in which she has scored 825 runs at a batting average of 25.78 and bowling strike rate of 45.53. Her highest score was 113* against Ireland in 2017.She was named the BCCI Senior Player of the Year in 2009-2010 and from 2012-2014.
