Abid Nabi has played for many teams like Delhi Giants (ICL), Jammu & Kashmir, Jammu & Kashmir Under 16s and Jammu & Kashmir Under 19s. He bowls right arm medium and bats right handedly.

Nabi participated in a first class match contested by Orissa and Jammu & Kashmir at Cuttack (Barabati Stadium) from 25th to 28th December 2006. Although, he bowled 31 overs, he could not take any wicket and conceded 89 runs. He was allocated the No. 11 batting slot where he faced 9 deliveries and with the assistance of 2 boundaries remained unbeaten on 9 runs.
