Dwaraka Teja

Dwaraka Bhamidipati Ravi Teja can be mentioned as an opening batsman representing Hyderabad. He has also played for India Under-19s before. He bats with the help of right hand. The way of bowling is called ‘Legbreak googly’. Dwaraka was signed by Hyderabad Deccan Chargers in the year 2008 for IPL. He has been retained by this team to play at the IPL 5 season as well.

Teja made his debut in First-Class cricket against Maharashtra which was played from 23rd of November, 2006 at Karad. This match failed to produce any result. Teja did a brilliant job in the first innings by scoring 84 runs in 101 balls. He was also successful in capturing a wicket. The second innings could not be played. In an IPL Twenty20 match played against Chennai Super Kings on 27th of May, 2008 at Hyderabad, Teja made 40 runs in 28 balls. However, Deccan Chargers lost this match by 7 wickets.
