Dominic Thornely can be described as ‘The Dominator’ of ‘First-Class Cricket’. He is an Australian player and has been signed by Mumbai Indians Franchise of IPL. Apart from this team, Domini has played for Hampshire, Surrey, and New South Wales. He bowls in two ways: right-arm medium and right-arm offbreak. Batting also takes place with the right hand.

Dominic Thornely went on to make his debut in cricket in a ‘List A’ match that was held in the year 2001. As far as first-class matches are concerned, the latest match played by him was that held on from 30th of January, 2009 at Newcastle. This match was held between Tasmania and New South Wales. The latter one had won this four-day match by 114 runs. Thornely had given a brilliant performance by making 110 runs in the first innings and 28 runs in the second. He is yet to play for Mumbai Indians. His past records show that he is an aggressive player; and wouldn’t give anything except 100%.

Career Highlights

In 77 first-class matches played so far, Dominic has scored 4956 runs. ‘261 not out’ has been his highest score till date. 52 wickets have been captured by him in this process.
