Nathan McCullum
Nathan McCullum bowls right arm offbreak and bats right handedly in the New Zealand cricket team. The other major team he has played for is Otago. He is the elder brother of Brendon McCullum who also plays for New Zealand.
Nathan McCullum has represented New Zealand in only one match which was a Twenty20 International on 19th September 2007 at Durban (Kingsmead) against South Africa. In this match, he came to bat at the No. 7 batting slot and scored 1 run in 4 deliveries. South Africa was triumphant in this match by 6 wickets with 5 deliveries remaining. McCullum debuted in Twenty20 matches on 13th January 2006 at Christchurch (Hagley Oval) in a match between Canterbury and Otago. He was assigned the No. 7 batting position where he scored 2 runs in 4 balls. He bowled 3 overs, none of which were maidens, gave away 13 runs and took 1 wicket. He also took 1 catch. This match was won by Canterbury by 6 wickets with 20 deliveries remaining. on 15th February 2009 he played against Australia and made 10 runs and stayed not out.
Nathan McCullum is a good athlete in the field like his brother. He bats in the lower order for the team and is capable of scoring good amount of runs at a decent strike rate. His off spinners are more than handy in the middle overs after the power plays are over. Nathan was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team till 2010. He has made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on the Colombo Ground on 8th September 2009.
